AI EVOLUTION
Anthropic Built an AI That Finds Bugs Humans Missed for 27 Years. Then They Locked It Away (For now)
Anthropic announced Project Glasswing on April 7, giving early access to a new AI model called Claude Mythos.
Microsoft, Apple, CrowdStrike, AWS, and 40+ organizations that build critical software infrastructure will be using Mythos to find security vulnerabilities in their software and patch it before Mythos goes beast mode on it.
Mythos autonomously found thousands of zero-day vulnerabilities in every major operating system and every major web browser. No human steering required.
Anthropic committed $100M in Mythos usage credits and $4M in donations to open-source security organizations. The model is not yet available to the public.
Why It Matters
Ready or not, here it comes.
Anthropic built a model so good that they decided not to let anyone use it until we can secure their code bases.
First, kudos to Anthropic for not… you know… like crashing the entire network that runs the world.
Second, and more important to you and I:
Mythos will soon be the intelligence running Claude Cowork.
And Claude Cowork has rapidly become the default AI for running businesses including over 200 businesses run by members of theCLICK Pro.
Cowork is not a chatbot. It’s an agent.
An agent that can already do mind-blowing amounts of work for your business. Imagine what it will be able to do with Mythos.
The pressure will mount on Anthropic to release this model and, when they do, some businesses and individuals will be ready and others will not.
